Lock Stock & Barrell

How Do I Buy One?

Once you decide on that special item, we begin the paperwork. First, You'll need two 2x2 passport style photos. Second, fingerprints are taken at the local police department. Third, the proper BATF form is filled out and submitted to the chief law enforcement officer (CLEO) of your jurisdiction for their signature. This is signed stating that it is permissible to own such an item in your area and that they have no information concerning your background that would stop you from owning a firearm. Fourth, a check for $200 (or $5 if it's an AOW) is sent along with the paperwork to BATF's NFA Branch where it is processed.

Depending on NFA Branch's workload you may have your completed paperwork back in 8-12 weeks.

Own a business in Ohio?

The CLEO and fingerprint/photo requirement is bypassed. Come in or call and we will start the ball rolling toward your very own Class III weapon and a fantastic investment!
