The Advanced Pistol Courses are divided into three sections. Level I is a eight-hour or more course and offers the essential knowledge and skills that must be mastered in order to carry, store, and use a firearm safely and effectively for personal protection inside the home. Students should demonstrate the abiltity to work independently on the range with minimal assistance. Upon completion of Level I, students may choose to attend Level II and III. After the classroom portion, Level II and III students should expect to spend several hours on the range practicing advanced shooting skills.
